100 Million Websites


The latest Web survey found 101,435,253 websites in November 2006. Note the use of a logarithmic scale on this graph.
Hmm, three phases of growth:
  • 1991-1997: Explosive
  • 1998-2001: Rapid
  • 2002-2006: Maturing
