I'm really a mash man - pie or not, that's my thing. So when my wife foisted crushed new potatoes on me a while ago I was sceptical. After two servings, I was hooked.
Boiled new potatoes, skin on.
Drain and crush gently to marble sized pieces.
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with coarse sea salt and, if you have feelings of social inadequacy (you do), a little chopped flat leaf parsley.
